Is there any thing like free drug rehab centers?
Yes and No. Yes, because when you search for the term on the
internet, you get quite a lot of web pages. Many drug rehab
centers do use 'free' to lure people to their center. The word
'free' is powerful and draws attention of many people to whatever
is offered. I said no because someone somewhere must definitely
pay for the services at the center. In other words, someone
must pay the staffs, for accommodation etc.
However, I need to stress that depending on the type of drug
abuse case at hand, some centers term themselves as free drug
rehab centers. They give free services in form of free consultation
with the therapist. You're informed that you only pay after
the therapist discover you need to attend a drug rehab center.
Others can give you free services in the form of educating you
on the evil effects of drug abuse. They can organize a free
seminar and introduce the center to you, informing you on how
the center can help you get off drugs.
Therefore, you need to be careful of free drug rehab centers
that have littered the internet. Many of them are not fully
registered with the appropriate health authority in their states.
Also, many of them don't have the facility o take care of drug
addict. So, its not advisable to attend any of these centers.
Instead of looking for free drug rehab centers,
why not try and look for non-profit drug abuse rehab centers.
These are centers that are government owned or are sponsored
by a church or religious organizations.
